Gary Strydom is a South African IFBB Pro Bodybuilder. His Birthplace is Durban, South Africa. Gary won many competitions like Mr. Olmpia and many championships like Night of Champion and USA champion. After fall of WBF, He decided to take long break from competitions. Gary has simple diet plan and eat healthy food same all year around. In short, He don’t take off season and cutting diet plan like other bodybuyilder take. He don’t believe in those type of diet protocol but loves simple diet plan.

Gary talking about his diet :

“I diet over an extended amount of time, maybe 6-to-8 months so I can remove all of my subcutaneous fat and intramuscular fat, and this leaves nowhere for the water to hide.”

“I also eat the same foods every day of the year. You will see me even eat the same foods the day before a show. For water manipulation, I introduce a very effective/ complicated and technical protocol that works for everyone.”

He eats bunch of calories all the day and have include all macros that his body need like protein, carb and fats. He takes food that rich in high protein. Gary takes some supplements and steroid. We all understand that exercise is important in bodybuilding but nutrition & diet also plays vital role that how your body look.

Before start the workout routine or exercise routine, make sure you stay hydrated during workouts by drinking water or energy drinks. and Important is to don’t forget to warm-up exercising and make sure to cool down by stretching your muscles out, because It’s helps you to do injury free workout or exercise.

Weight Lifting

Gary knows how to treat her body and how can her body gives response. He knows one thing that, He need to do some basic movement to make strong targeted muscles. The exercises he does like squats, bent over rows and bench press. As we see above that he had 2 workout, one in morning and one in evening.

He always start his workout with warming up with lifting heavy weights and take some reps and sets in weight lifting. 30 sets for big muscles and 15-20 sets for smaller.

He does chest workout with many different exercise and help of machines. If we talk about his shoulder, It is the best part that represent us to audience. He does his shoulder workout very strictly.
