Dallas McCarver was a professional IFBB bodybuilder and also sponsored athlete from Tennessee. He was born and raised in Tennessee, USA. When he was in high school, He was very sporty and like to play football. After some time his passion turns into bodybuilding and in the position of football, He started weight lifting and gaining his muscle size. NPC Hub City Fitness Quest in 2011, It was McCarver’s first bodybuilding show and obviously he won it.

From 5 IFBB Bodybuilding competition, He won 3 competitions. His giant and massive muscular body attracted once the whole media. It was 22nd August 2017, The whole industry stopped and suddenly news emerged that Dallas had passed away.

McCarver’s coach taught him about the body can only utilize protein sources. After knowing that, First he only ate 5-6 ounces and after He takes 12-14 ounces of protein per meal. Let’s see the sample of Dallas McCarver diet.

  • Early Morning : 4 oz. black coffee
  • 1st Meal : 2 whole Omega-3 eggs, 10 egg whites, 1/2 cup Cream of Rice
  • 2nd Meal : 10 oz. chicken breast, 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 3rd Meal : 10 oz. tilapia, 10 oz. sweet potato
  • 4th Meal : 10 oz. chicken breast, 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 5th Meal : 10 oz. tilapia, 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 6th Meal : 12 oz. tilapia, 1 cup asparagus

After became a professional bodybuilder, He stays lean at all. He almost ate 5000 calories per day. He has an extreme metabolism that helps him in it. He said that this amount of calories “is more than a lot of guys eat even when they are trying to bulk.

We have to make a balance between all macronutrients that we give to our body like protein, carbohydrates and fats. We have to maintain a balance between it. We can get protein from its sources like eggs, egg whites and many other foods but it contains more than others. Now in bodybuilding only diet can’t do anything you have to do work hard for it and give hours to the gym and weight lifting.

Before starting the workout routine or training routine, make sure you stay hydrated during workouts by drinking water or energy drinks. And don’t forget to warm-up exercising and make sure to cool down by stretching your muscles out, because It helps you to do injury-free workout or exercise. Workout Split

Classic V-Taper Routine

Wide-Grip Chin-ups

When it comes to building his back, He always considered this Wide-grip chin-ups exercise in his routine. Form warm-up exercise, He started with loosen up the shoulders. After completed exercises. He takes his torso upright as straight as possible to maximize the tension of the movement. You can consider it a chest workout.

Dumbbell Lateral Raise

This was an important exercise for Dallas, Because he knows for topper delts. With four or five sets, He hits almost 20 reps in this movement.

Single Arm Front Raise

After hit back with one set of dumbell, Dallas workout with incline bench for single arm front raise. He said that “if you complemented the movement standing, the dumbbell would lose the isolation on the front deltoid, as it would be would be over the head during the lift.” It was one type of Arm Workout.

Cable Lateral Raise

The cable gave him more stretch in muscle, So he can make his Shoulder workout more easily. It can make full contraction at the top. He does this exercise right after dumbell raises.

Hanging Leg Raise

It was like a punishment exercise. It seems like it was very painful for him. Because with his massive body hanging leg raise become more complex for him. He says that it is the best to exercise for an ab workout.

Summary

It’s not easy that you can become like him overnight. But it took him lots of years of struggle to get physiques like him. I’m so sad to say that we lost our legendary bodybuilder.
